Our guided tour of the award winning Vallarta Botanical Gardens begins with a scenic 45 min bus ride from Puerto Vallarta. Our guide will lead us through multitude of different gardens and hothouses giving detailed explanations of what we encounter. We will spend between 1 to 2 hours exploring before be take an hour break so you may dine at the award winning restaurant with scrumptious food and amazing views over the stunning river canyon. <br /><br />After lunch we will take a short 15 minute walk down to the beautiful Horkenos River to relax and swim for approx. 2 hours. After we will have a final opportunity to visit the gift shop/nursery and visit a few areas of the garden while we make our way back to the parking lot for our bus ride home. <br /><br />Back in PV our bonus tasting experience will afford us the opportunity to taste not only raicilla, mezcal, but also 4 types of tequila: silver, reposado, anejo, and extra anejo including flavored dessert tequilas such as coffee, and pasionfruit.
