Chocomelher by Melher is a compound chocolate coating that is mainly used to cover frozen fruits such as bananas, strawberries, watermelons, pineapples, sorbets and ice creams. With a 13.22 oz package you can cover up to 40 banana halves. When used with frozen fruits, Chocomelher dries right away. The steps to make chocobananos with Melher's chocolate coating is to peel and cut the bananas, place a skew in the center and freeze for at least 24 hours. The second step is to melt the Chocomelher, you can do it in a bain-marie or using a rice cooker. Split the Melher chocolate coating tablet, calculating the amount of chocolate you are going to use to cover the exact number of split bananas. Place the Chocomelher in the saucepan and melt it over low heat until it is completely melted. Chocomelher should not be heated over direct heat, as it can burn and when burned it is useless and damaged. The third step is the most fun and is when you bathe the bananas you frozen in step 1 with chocolate.
