Founded in 2016 by designer Marina Cortbawi, Brooklyn-based Merlette thoughtfully crafts its garments from all natural, high-quality materials (cotton, wools and silks) with bespoke finishes — perfect for building a timeless wardrobe. The Reve reimagines the classic denim jacket, with tucks in the cuffs and back hemline to create volume in the silhouette. It has gently ballooned sleeves, a curved hem and features contrast topstitching in Ochre. The front pockets are decorated with trapunto — a technique borrowed from quilting.
