In 1995, Troy Aikman entered his seventh season with the Dallas Cowboys. He started all 16 regular-season games, completing 280 of 432 passes for a total of 3,304 yards. He threw 16 touchdowns and only seven interceptions, achieving a passer rating of 93.6. During the playoffs, Aikman led the Cowboys to a first-round victory over the Eagles and a second-round win over the Packers. In the Super Bowl, Aikman and the Cowboys defeated the Steelers 27-17, marking their third championship title in four years. That season, Aikman was selected for his fifth Pro Bowl, further establishing him as one of the premier quarterbacks of his era.
