Made of high-quality silicone material, flexible and durable can last a long time with proper care, suitable for making molds of any configuration for casting plasters, wax, low-melt temperature metal alloys, and resins. Although not usually necessary, a release agent will make demolding easier when casting into or over most surface 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞Mold use tips𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 When first cast, silicone rubber molds exhibit natural release characteristics. Depending on what is being cast into the mold, mold lubricity may be depleted over time and parts will begin to stick. No release agent is necessary when casting wax or gypsum. Do NOT use heat such as a torch to pop bubbles. This will ruin its lubricity causing it to stick to your pieces. If popping bubbles is needed, alcohol spray is recommended. First, to help prevent bubbling around etching, pour a thin layer over the etching, and pop the bubbles that rise. Using a beauty tool, a popsicle stick or toothpick also works well with eliminating bubbles around the etching (as well as spraying with alcohol prior to pouring resin) IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: 𓆉 What are the "clear" and "colored" options? Clear is for food safe and UV resins (or just because you like it that way). UV resin DOES NOT work with colored molds so please be sure to select clear as I will not refund a used mold after its figured out that it wont work! 𓆉 Are these food safe? YES! As long as you select clear in the drop down menu! 𓆉 The color of the mold may vary. I use a colorant to achieve coloring, in which I like to switch it up. This does NOT mean it is made from a different silicone than pictured. 𓆉 Some designs are made with layered acrylic or 3D prints. This means that there will be a faint line around the edge or along surface. This is unavoidable. To get rid of these lines light sanding or top coating may be necessary. If you are unsure by the photos if yours may have lines please contact me prior to purchase! 𓆉 All artworks made with this mold may be sold, but using my molds to create your own blanks is strictly prohibited. Most creations made with this shop is copyrighted and may not be claimed as your own design. 𓆉 Our molds may not be compatible with pressure pots.
