PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION:
These are our top sellers, created from Reclaimed/Repurposed wood used to age cheese. in France. These are created USING VINTAGE RECLAIMED WOOD BOARD PLANKS FROM THE 1970’-1980’s. They will have MARKINGS, ETCHINGS, KNIFE MARKS, COLORATION AND PAINT SPOTS FROM CHEESE RINDS AND AGED PATINA SOME WILL HAVE VERY LITTLE PATINA, AND VERY LITTLE MARKINGS.
ONCE THEY ARRIVE:
we clean them with kosher salt and lemon. Once dried we wipe them with a food grade butcher block conditioner oil, which we recommend for all of the bread boards we sell. We also wipe them again before they are shipped to protect them from a climate change.
We RECOMMEND:
not submerging them in water, wipe only with food grade butcher block conditioner
not using them as cutting boards
Not using raw meat on them
and to wipe them periodically with a food grade butcher block conditioner.
