Handmade "Home" block print. He bottles our tears. This one I made for my own heart.
Psalm 56:8: "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle."
Printed by hand on thick cotton rag paper with a deckle edge.
This is a hand-pressed block print. The design is first hand drawn, then I pencil transfer the image to a block, then I carve it out and then ink and press onto paper one at a time.
Because this process is done entirely by hand, there are variations to each print, which is part of the beauty of block prints.
This paper is approximately 8 1/4 by 11 1/2 inches (it is handmade paper and the size slightly varies sheet by sheet). The image is about 8 by 5 inches. This could be cut down to be used in a 8 by 10 frame.
This paper is thick 100% cotton rag paper.
Frame is not included.
Signed with title, year, and signature.
Shipping:
Your print will come with chipboard in a plastic protective cover and it will be shipped in a rigid mailer made for shipping prints.
