Pitaya ‘Nadia’ Hylocereus Undatus. Pitaya Fruit, commonly known as the Dragon fruit is among the most nutritious and wonderful exotic fruits ! Perennial epiphytic or creeping cactus native to Central America and hardy to 40 degrees F. Night-blooming and exotically scented, the flowers of Dragon Fruit can reach more than a foot long and wide. The fruits are red and free of spines, with a succulent white flesh dotted with the jet black seeds, the flesh being very sweet, 18% Brix! edible and delicious, reaching up to 5 inches long. This particular hybrid, have a very short growing habit, with very early flower and fruits! (Sweet and early was the goal of the breeder.) The cacti have a jointed growing habit and usually describe as "vining," but this special hybrid will only need a small 3' pole! Can be grown in 12" container indoor or outdoor!
