I’ll write whatever you want! With a couple stipulations:
- Swear words and generally being rude is fair game (however I will NOT do slurs/hate speech/harassment)
- I will not write threats, spam, bully, blackmail, stalk, say things that would make the recipient feel genuinely physically unsafe, or anything else that breaks the law or completely ruins someone's life out of spite.
- I will not promote your business
- I reserve the right to deny/refund any requests which I deem to break these baseline rules (I've found through doing this that the VAST majority of people do not even come close to breaking these rules, but I am including this disclaimer to set the tone and boundaries of this service just in case)
- If you don't include a recipient address and don't respond to my messages within 2 business days of ordering, I will be forced to refund because I cannot fulfill the order. If this happens to you, no worries, feel free to place the order again as long as you include the necessary info! I try really hard to contact people who forget stuff or are unclear in their requests, but I hope you understand there's only so much I can do.
I will type your letter on a postcard with one of my typewriters and mail it to the recipient you specify in the order notes. Sample text is shown in the photos. No return address, no worries. No packing slip or other indicator this was a paid service. Your address and identity is strictly confidential and will NEVER be shared. HOWEVER, in many cases where anonymous notes are sent, the notes are not truly anonymous because the circumstances are so specific, the recipient can often narrow down who sent it. Please keep this at the forefront of your mind if you are at all worried about your safety or reputation. ALSO since this is a postcard, ANYONE WITH ACCESS TO THE MAILBOX CAN SEE WHAT IT SAYS!! Not just the recipient. Beware of nosy roommates or postal employees.
In most circumstances, I can type and send a postcard within 24 hours, though 3 days is my guarantee. I am happy to be your liaison for all your anonymous letter needs -- it's our secret, and my pleasure. I'll even work with you if you need help coming up with a message, and I'll send you pic of the finished product as proof I typed and sent it.
