Little koi fish are permanently encased in shiny solid casting resin. The result is a scene frozen in time as the "water" is hard to the touch and will remain that way.
It took at least 7 days to complete this piece, they were painted in watercolor layer by layer. The resin is then poured into thin layers and allowed to dry completely and continues with a new layer of paint. The Koi fish gradually appear and look like a 3d cube. Epoxy resins will keep them forever so you can see the Koi aquarium every day right in your home or office.
