Filter sits 34 inches above the floor. That is almost as tall as the average kitchen counter top.

Dimensions: The stands footprint from side to side is 1 1/2 inch wider than the cross bars, so if the cross bars are 10 inches the stand needs a 11 1/2 inch wide space to fit into. Same dimensions for front to back. Over all the legs add 5 1/4 to the cross bar size.
