These ribbons were all won by one individual throughout the 1960s and 1970s. They were won in horse shows around the greater Philadelphia area, including Bucks and Montgomery counties. Venues include the Haycock Riding Club, Riders of the Wissahickon, Hatfield Community Park, Hilltown Trotters 4-H, DelVal Riding Club, Pleasant Hollow Farms, and more.

As vintage items, these ribbons do show signs of age. Some are faded (please note blue ribbons especially tend to fade and appear more purple), some have some staining especially on pink and white streamers, and many ribbons are wrinkled. They have been in an attic and do have a mild stale odor.
