WATER REQUIREMENTS
During the growing season, cacti will need more frequent watering. However, the frequency of watering will depend on the environment it's in. The safest way to ensure that you don't overwater your cactus is to allow the soil to dry out between waterings completely. Once your soil is completely dry, wait an additional 3-7 days before watering. In the dormancy periods, which are usually in the winter months between October and March, cacti will require very little water. Allow the soil to be dry for 1-3 weeks between waterings.
Cacti watering needs are entirely dependent on their environment. humidity, temperature, and light all affect the frequency of watering. The higher the humidity, lower light, and lower temperatures, the less water you will need.
The growing season for this plant is late spring to fall. During those seasons, you will want to give it water every 1-2 weeks or as needed depending on the soil and plant.
SUN REQUIREMENTS
Cacti prefer full sun, but they cannot withstand long durations of intense sunlight. During seasons of heavy sun, make sure your cactus is either properly acclimated or partially shaded. If growing indoors, make sure it is in a south-facing window, preferably with a grow light to supplement its lighting requirements. Cactus love the sun, but they need to be acclimated to it slowly over time.
REPOTTING
Repot as the plant needs it. Since they are a slow-growing species, they can often remain in the same pot for 2-3 years. When repotting, only plant into a slightly larger container. Don't transplant cacti into too large of a container, as the soil will remain wet for longer than the plant can withstand resulting in root rot and possible death.

All plants are packaged in recycled brown paper bags to help prevent plant rot and to ensure the plant stays secure in the box during shipping.
Depending on when the order is placed, orders go out Mondays to guarantee the fastest delivery. If a holiday falls on a Monday, we will ship on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, if there are any problems or damage to your order please notify us immediately with pictures. You will have up to 10 days to contact us with any issues. Any contact after 10 days will be evaluated.
**Once your order is packaged and leaves our facility to a shipping carrier we are no longer responsible for shipping time or damage to the box. If there are any problems or concerns regarding shipping you will be responsible for contacting the shipping carrier.
