These beautiful glass fishing floats are originally from Japan. They were handblown using recycled glass prior to the early 1970's & after 1910. They were used by Japanese fishermen for salmon gillnet fishing.
I’m trying something new! I typically sell sets of floats that I curate, as that is my preference. I also do a lot of custom orders for people that have specific requests, too. I thought I’d try selling individual floats to see how it goes!

Size: 3” to 3.5” in diameter
Some floats may have common marks on seal buttons.
Each float is sold individually. Please choose the color(s) you prefer & the quantity. Some are shades of blue, shades of teal, & shades of green. I added a new color option. I have lots of floats that are a specific blue, which I’m calling “mason jar blue”. The photos are examples of the general hues. Float colors will vary. The photos were taken on a white background to help show the colors of the glass. If you would like photos of the floats I select, please send me a message right after you make a purchase. Otherwise, I will send what I choose.
All floats may have signs of use including scratches, chips around seal buttons, small popped bubbles, & slight abrasions. This is indicative of working floats. They do not have cracks, or damage.
I can combine shipping on multiple listings.
*NOTE: I ALWAYS refund shipping overages. If you buy 5 floats, you will be charged for shipping on each float. Etsy doesn’t always know how to combine shipping charges for multiple purchases. You will receive a refund for the additional amount you are charged for shipping after I box the order & print the label!
USPS Ground Advantage/First Class is the most economical way for shipping. It typically takes 2-4 days longer than Priority depending on where the box is going. If you need an order faster, please let me know!
