Wonderful Luneville, France, "Old Strasbourg" Oyster Plate, Rare, Antique French Faience Oyster Plate by K&G of Luneville c.1920, hand painted in the much loved 'Old Strasbourg' pattern. Each well is molded in the shape of a shell decorated with masterfully painted spring flowers with embossed tendrils of seaweed flowing down from the sides. Six wells, and a central condiment well, enclosed in a rosy rim. Really nice!
Measures 24 cm/ 9.44" in diameter.
