This simple and discreet day collar features a plain 8 gauge (3.3mm diameter) round sterling silver wire with a sterling allen key clasp . The clasp locks via a stainless steel hex screw.
**The material used in this collar is nickel free and not plated. It is fine jewelry quality solid 925 sterling silver with a stainless steel screw, both of which are known to be hypoallergenic -- perfect for most with nickel allergies.**
This collar is made and sized to order. For comfort, I usually recommend about a half inch to one inch larger collar than the neck it will be worn on when measured at the adam's apple. However, please make sure you measure correctly and order the right size that's comfortable for YOU, as custom sized orders are not refundable. If you don't see the size you need listed, please message me. Collar comes with an extra screw (2 total), 2 allen keys, and a sterling silver mini polishing pad to keep your jewelry shining. I take great care to solder all rings and links closed for strength and quality purposes, because obviously no collar or quality piece of jewelry (locking or otherwise) should be able to be removed by pulling a ring open. However, my day collars are meant to be worn symbolically and discreetly in public as jewelry. They are not meant to be used in play, or to be pulled on. Doing so may bend or damage the collar. If you have any questions or concerns, please message me first.
And as always, please use caution when wearing this, or any other locking necklace. Always keep a spare key handy in case of emergency, as anything worn around the neck has the potential to cause a choking hazard.
