There are 2 ways to use this pottery rib; either LIFT UP the rim from a flat slab (either a wheel thrown disk or a rolled slab) or you can throw a shallow form with vertical sides and gently PUSH OUT the rim/side of your form onto these ribs.
Available in 2 shapes;
The Rim Lifter 1, give straight form.
The Rim Lifter 2, gives a delicate curved form.

As will all my ribs, this tool comes with a small magnet on the back so you can store it on a magnetic tool rack – no more rooting around in drawers or tubs trying to find the tool you need!
This is a made to order 3D printed item. It is made out of PLA filament which is a recyclable, natural thermoplastic polyester that is derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane. It is biodegradable under certain conditions.
