Soil Free Chunky Anthurium Seedling Aroid Mix
1 or 2Lbs Of Mix.
With Anthurium Seedlings I always use a more dense chunky soil mix. Ingredients include Coco Chips, New Zealand Tree Fern Fiber, Charcoal, New Zealand Pine Bark (Tiny), & Pumice (M).
Aroid roots like to grip these chunky amendments. This also prevents root rot as it is well draining & allows more oxygen to reach their roots.
We package our plants and cuttings very thoughtfully. However, please let me know if your plant arrives damaged or dead. I will replace the damaged plant or issue you a refund. I will need to see pictures of the plant within 24hrs of its arrival. Thank you & we appreciate your patience.

Please remember plants are delicate and will most likely show signs of distress after being shipped. Leaf loss & drooping leaves are very common with shipped plants, especially alocasias. This is out of our control. To help them bounce back, try not to overwater & set them somewhere nice and bright. Preferably in a greenhouse cabinet. These plants only need water when they look almost dry, I would recommend watering when it is about 3/4ths dry. They will be acclimating & most likely in shock. Repotting them on arrival might cause further decline. I always pot up my plants with well draining soil mixes, you shouldn't necessarily need to repot your plant until the roots start peeking out.
We routinely treat all of our plants for pests & always inspect them before we ship. However, plants are living things and are naturally prone to bugs. Please be sure to quarantine your new plants before introducing them to your home & other plants. For our pest prevention we use Systemic Granules to prevent all bugs except for spider mites. We prevent spider mites by using AzaMax. Both are systemic bug preventatives & are routinely used on all of our growing plants.
