The musical movement is an electronic music player and it's built in underneath the lid of the music box. You can send me the song of your choice with a youtube video and a link and I'll transform your song into music box version.
The box has a built in light sensor, so the music starts playing when you open it and it will play for about 1 and a half minute. When the song is over, it takes a little break and then it starts playing again. Or you can just close the lid and open it again. Because of this light sensor, it needs direct light so you can't use it in a dark room.
It is battery operated.
The life cycle: plays 300 to 350 times on average
(replace 2 LIR2032 batteries and unit will continue to play. No re-programming required)
But if you prefer to send it back to me for a battery change, I can do that for you, not a problem.
You can request any engravings on the top and even on the bottom of the box and you can pick the color as well just like my regular music boxes.
HOW TO ORDER:
- choose the amount you wish to purchase
- choose between the following:
- top engrave only
- w add'l bottom engrave
- choose a color (see pic 3)
- add to cart
- leave a note with your song choice (with a youtube link if possible) and separately the top engraving and the bottom engraving (if you picked that option earlier) you wish to have of the box to the PERSONALIZATION section - I'll get back to you with the design for approval in 1-2 business days

PRODUCTION TIME:
If you'd like to place a custom order, please keep that in mind that it takes up to 1-2 weeks to get a music box done depending on the song of your choice and my work load. But even if you don't have that much time, contact me and I'll try to work it out.
