This sweet little Victorian-era porcelain cup was designed for children and might have been part of a larger set. Just 2 1/8" tall, the white cup is decorated with childhood favorites from the time period: a wheeled horse, metal sand pail, colorful ball and a racket and birdie. The rim measures 2 1/8" across and is edged with gold, as is the handle. There is no maker's mark on the bottom but it looks like German porcelain to me. There are no chips or cracks but there is what appears to be a production flaw inside, just where the bottom of the cup meets the upright side.
