This piece is a darker deep green color Moldavite from Marouškovo Pole. The sterling silver setting includes little cut out heart accents on the sides and can be adjusted to whatever size you need. ღ Moldavite (vltavín in Czech) is a very special tektite that arrived on Earth approximately 14.7 Million years ago. Moldavite has a rich history that began when it came to the Czech Republic from the meteorite impact in southeastern Germany known as the Nördlinger Ries Crater. Moldavite was first discovered by prehistoric Czech inhabitants who used it to create tools, but it was officially introduced to the public in 1787 by Professor Josef Mayor.
