It's been quite a fun challenge to design of a tortoise that could both stand and retract into it's shell! It's fully print-in-place, you just have to crack the head free (similar to the bunny and tiger). To help him stand, there are small ball and socket joints on the ends of the legs. Just pull the legs out as far as you can, and they should snap into the position that will allow them to support it's weight. Then pop them back in to let him hide back in his shell. More designs are coming soon! ❗3D PRINTING SETTINGS❗ **Includes STL File, and a multicolor 3MF** - Tortoise: Print-In-Place, No additional support needed. - 3MF: includes multicolor 3MF file (compatible with both PrusaSlicer and Bambu Studio) - 3 Walls. - 5%-15% Infill. Pulling the legs out fully allows them to pop into sockets. That creates enough tension to make him stand up. It may be difficult the first few times, but once it breaks-in, it should work with light effort. The head has built in pre-supports, just twist the head after printing to crack the joint free. Your mileage may vary. ***This model was designed for FDM printing. It was not designed for Resin printing, and I cannot guarantee good/functional results. Resin print at your own risk.** Attention: Not suitable for unsupervised play by small children or pets, as small parts can pose a choking hazard if broken off due to rough play. Not recommended for children under 3.
