The disco ball may have imperfect tops/bottoms as they are put together using tiled glass mirrors that are of the same size. Towards the ends of the sphere, it is not possible to fit the tiled glass mirrors perfectly so there will be small gaps. However, it is not very visible since this only impacts the very top and bottom of the disco ball.
