This is a stunning antique Edwardian Valenciennes lace layered drawstring petticoat. The drawstring gathers and ties in the back. On the front waistband the original owner's monogram of "TB" is embroidered in small white letters. Top tier of skirt is made of a light to medium weight cotton and is plain. Second tier starts with a wide ribbon runner with embroidered three leaf clovers and checkered lace squares. The bottom flounce is made of three layers. The top layer is cotton voile with beautiful valenciennes lace. The layer underneath is lightweight cotton with tiny embroidered flowers and lace trim and the bottom layer is also lightweight cotton with lace trim. This adds a lot off fullness to the skirt. It is in good antique condition. It has some faint yellowing on the front right side around the ribbon runner as shown in photo. There may be a pinhole and pin dot or two. It has been washed by me.
Will fit various sizes from xs to large due to drawstring but please see measurements.
