But how to apply your DTF transfers yourself, you ask?
1. Please preheat your shirt for about ⏱️15 seconds⏱️ and let it cool off after that (It will help remove excess moisture from the garment).
2. Put the DTF transfer on the 👕 shirt 👕 while the ink is facing down, as it must interact with the shirt.
3. Use your iron to press the shirt for about ⏱️15 seconds⏱️, while moving it around all over the transfer. But make sure to use temperatures between 🌡️150 and 170°C (or 302 to 335°F).🌡️
4. Remove the iron and let the shirt cool off for about ⏱️20-30 seconds⏱️.
5. Pill the transparent film off the shirt.
6. Use a parchment paper piece to cover the whole transfer and press one last time with your iron for not longer than ⏱️5 to 10 seconds⏱️.
7. That`s your final seal and now you have your own 👕 special shirt 👕.
⚠️ Very important! Please read the Warnings! ⚠️
- For the final seal of the DTF transfer, you can use parchment paper, butcher paper, tissue paper or a Teflon sheet.
- Be careful with the temperature of the iron! If it is too ♨️hot ♨️, you will most likely damage and even destroy the film and the transfer. Don`t overheat it!
- If you are using the iron method for the first time and haven`t tried it before, make sure to not press and move around too hard and rough with it. It might be best to just press on one stop, lift the iron and apply to a different spot.
- When removing the transparent film from the transfer, you should do it gently. If you notice that the transfer is not coming off completely, that means that the iron temperature was lower than needed. In that case, just put down the film back in place and repress with your iron. Let it cool and peel the film off.
