* Aftermarket 2DIN touchscreen head units compatible with Audi TT are made by well-known brands such as Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony and others. There are also Chinese Android head units with wireless and wired CarPlay+AA – if you go this route, we'd recommend a decent unit from T'EYES (such as the CC3) or MEKEDE (M6 Pro, M6 Pro Plus, M7 Plus) purchased directly from their website (not via a Chinese platform with sellers posing as them) and specifically designed for the Audi TT dashboard (i.e. a touchscreen head unit supplied with dedicated cable harness and fascia frame). If you choose another Chinese brand, at the very least opt for an FYT-based head unit with Unisoc UIS-7862, 7862S or 7870; 4 or 6GB of RAM (less is not enough, more is unnecessary), with a cooling fan on the chassis. Android version numbers on these units are always fanciful and irrelevant. The QLED LCD touchscreen can be 9" in 1280×720 pixel resolution, or better 9" or 9.5" 2K (2000×1200 pixels). Avoid anything else on the Chinese market!
