The EVA bread & meat slicer was launched in 1952 and was super popular in Denmark until the 1980s. It´s great for cutting lots of stuff like bread, meat, firm cheese and vegetables. And the slices can be adjusted easily.
The EVA slicer is a solid slicer of good quality and it was expensive to buy while it was in production until 1988. But as the housewife could safe lots of time on slicing it was worth it. It still is. And you do not need any electricity, so it´s super environment friendly, too. Go for it!
Most of the parts are made of metal and the knife is made of stainless steel. The board is made of plastic. To safe space the slicer can be patted. The screw on left side is used to fasten the slicer to the table. And this slicer also comes with a suction cup.
Function:
There is a screw on front bottom left which you use to regulate the thickness of the slices.

EVA is a Danish kitchen equipment company established in 1913.
It still exists and still is very popular in Denmark with their product ranges EVA Solo, EVA Trio & EVA.

Fully functional!
Few signs from age and use. Only very little lacquer loss.
A little bit of the plastic has broken off at the side of the plastic board.
The blade is sharp and fully intact. It has some discoloration from use.
