🎄REPAIR, REBODY, & RETROFIT: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
We offer a variety of ways to bring your elf to life! You can choose to have your elf REPAIRED, LAUNDERED, REBODIED, RETROFITTED to STAND & BEND, or any combination of these services. You can choose from the following services:
• REPAIR or LAUNDER ONLY: We handle minor issues like fixing stitching, patching holes, removing stains, shaving pilling, and more! You can trust that we’ll give your elf the best care, restoring it to tip-top shape. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee the resolution of all damage, especially if it is extensive.
• REBODY ONLY: For severely damaged elves, we can replace their worn-out body with a new one. This covers burns, large tears, major stains, and more, giving your elf a fresh start. Choose a “Rebody Color” for your elf’s new look, or select “Not Applicable” if not needed.
• STAND & BEND ONLY: Our PATENTED technology allows your elf to bend, pose, and stand with ease. After retrofitting, your elf can bend and stand with support or independently with doll shoes (sold separately). Explore our selection of doll shoes to enhance your elf’s standing and posing abilities!
🎄HOW IT WORKS:
PURCHASE. Select your preferred service(s)—Repair Only, Launder Only, Rebody Only, Retrofit to Stand/Bend Only, or any combination. Add the services to your cart, adjusting quantities as needed. For new bodies, pick a color or select “Not Applicable.” Don’t forget to explore additional customization options like hair, bows, earrings, and more. If you have any special requests or ideas for your elf’s transformation, reach out through our Etsy shop. We’d love to discuss your unique needs and provide all the details and pricing.
ELF CONDITION NOTICE. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that their elf is shipped to us in a condition that is suitable for the requested services. Please add the Repair Only or Rebody Only service if your elf has any damage or loose stitching, especially if previous alterations were made by yourself or others. It’s crucial to address any damage or loose stitching to ensure the retrofitting we install inside the elf remains safe, stable, and secure. If your elf arrives damaged and the appropriate service wasn’t purchased, we reserve the right to refuse service and provide a refund minus shipping. Prior to purchasing, please contact us with photos of your elf’s condition if needed.
PERSONALIZATION. We offer various customization options, including hair, colored bows, crystal earrings, colored bibs, hat embellishments, and shoes, each sold separately. For special requests not listed, contact us first to finalize details and pricing. This ensures we can accommodate your request and have the necessary materials ready. Unaddressed requests will not be fulfilled. We appreciate your cooperation and are excited to make your elf’s transformation just as you envision it.
SHIP. After purchasing, we will message you with the address of the North Pole Surgery Center. We recommend shipping your elf right away to ensure a smooth and timely return. For added security, we suggest purchasing tracking and signature delivery. We are not liable for any damage or issues that arise due to the elf’s condition upon arrival. Please ship only the elf (no accessories, book, or storage box). We cover return shipping costs within the U.S., but will not provide shipping for the book or storage box. For international customers, feel free to reach out; we have cost-effective shipping options available.
SURGERY & ESTIMATED TIME FRAME. Each elf undergoes around five hours of surgery. Our typical turnaround time is 1 to 3 weeks from the arrival of your elf at the North Pole Surgery Center. The timeline may vary based on the volume of customer orders in our queue. Delays in shipping or unforeseen issues may affect the estimated time frame. We encourage customers to promptly ship their elf to us after making a purchase. This will contribute to a timely return of your transformed elf. If there’s a delay in sending the elf to us, it can affect our ability to meet the estimated arrival date, and Etsy may cancel shipping availability. To avoid this, we set the delivery estimate two months out. This gives customers plenty of time to ship their elf, allows us to sufficient time to complete the service with care, and ensures the elf has adequate time to make the journey home. If we do not receive a customer's elf within the required time frame, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund. Should the elf arrive after the order has been canceled and payment refunded, the customer may choose to repurchase the service at the current price or cover the shipping costs for the elf's return journey.
HOMEBOUND. Once the transformation is complete, we’ll ship your improved elf back to you with essential care instructions, covering shipping costs for your elf’s journey home within the U.S. We recycle packaging materials when possible to preserve the environment.
RETURNS. Due to the handcrafted nature of our work and variations in materials, minor imperfections or differences from the images, descriptions, or between products may occur. We inspect each elf to ensure high quality before shipping. Due to the personalized nature of this service, refunds or cancellations are not available once work has begun. Please ensure you review your request carefully before purchasing. We strive to deliver a FabYULEus experience, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter.
