This charming Mother of Pearl and Abalone shell bracelet was handcrafted in Mexico.
Each piece of shell was cut and polished by hand, an intricate piece of shell inlay work of mother of pearl flower segments and an abalone background.
This bracelet is silver plated.
The bangle is made of solid 3mm square wire, the clasp locks securely to the frame.
The dimensions of the bracelet are 7 inches / 18 cm circumference.
They may vary very slightly in the tone of shell, as they are all individually handmade.

This is part of a collection of jewellery that I make with Mexican artisans. Inspired by my mum's collection from the 80's when she bought and sold Mexican jewellery on her London market stall.
I still have some of her vintage pieces in my shop and I am now recreating these timeless pieces.
