Note! Foliage Color will vary depending on the time of year they ship. As the weather and temperatures change, this induces the evergreen leaves to change color. Spring and Fall tend to flush the most vibrant colors, but plant always looks good. Some cultivars will change color multiple times a year, while others stay more constant. The amount of sun is very important to develop good color, lack of sun will result in poor coloration and unhealthy plant.

'Ruby Heart' is a stunning selection that quickly forms rosettes of sharply pointed, silvery blue to blue-green leaves which are flushed VIVID rosy red at the center base. This is most intense in late winter-spring. This color varies by season as temperatures change so does the evergreen foliage!
In midsummer, unique pinkish purple flowers are held aloft on short, leafy stalks.

Sempervivum is comprised of one large rosette called the "hen" which sprouts many smaller rosettes around it called "chicks". As the plants age, the "hen" may die out and be replaced by the "chicks". Plants can be divided easily at any time by pulling up some of the "chicks" and replanting them elsewhere.
This plant is particularly effective when planted in the cracks and crevices of stone walls or walkways. It is also very attractive in containers.
For Best Results, grow Sempervivum in Full ☀️ To part ☀️in very well drained soil. They will not tolerate wet, soggy conditions. Necessary Amanda soil with sand grit and or a little stones. Use wood chip mulch instead use grit or stones. Among the easiest plants to grow, Hen-and-chicks thrive in poor dry condition, heat, drought and total neglect. Useful in sandy crevices, rock gardens, container gardens of all types, rooftop gardens Trough Gardens, Rocks with holes and Rock walls. Hundreds of varieties exist. Be sure to have adequate drainage in your container to achieve success. These plants may be left undisturbed for years. All types form rosettes and plants are Easily increased by just removing the small baby rosettes.
