This listing features several options of fabrics for my Antique Snake Print Scarf. The design features select sinuous serpents from 18th Century scientific illustrations.
The version shown in the photos is the 100% 16mm Silk Charmeuse version. This luxe version is printed on both sides and finished with a hand rolled hem. The print is vibrant and shows all the detail of the original 18th century scientific drawings that were used in the design. I have these in stock and ready to ship in two sizes, 26"x 26" and 36"x 36".
I also have a 100% 8mm Silk Charmeuse version that only comes in the 16"x 16" or 50"x 50" size.
Other fabrics available in all sizes are; Silk Habotai, Silk/Modal and Polyester Chiffon.
Thes scarves are lightweight and soft, perfect for wearing or draped over your favorite lampshade! They are printed using reactive printing which is a multistep process formulated for printing on natural fabrics. This involves 4 main steps: pretreating fabrics, printing, steaming and washing. These are printed on one side, if you want a two sided print effect go with the Luxe version or I would recommend the sheer polyester or the luxury silk georgette scarf which will show through both sides more clearly than the thicker Habotai or Modal.

• Available fabrics are: 8mm 100% Silk Charmeuse (16" and 50"), 16mm 100% Silk Charmeuse (26"and 36"), Silk Habotai, Silk/Modal and Polyester Voile. (Photos only show the 16mm Silk Charmeuse variety)

• Permanent reactive digital ink printing
• Machine rolled baby hem provides a durable yet delicate finished edge / hand rolled hem on luxe scarf
• Dry clean or hand wash Silks. Machine wash Polyester in cold water with phosphate free detergent, hang to dry, iron on synthetic setting, may shrink after the first wash
All scarves (with the exception of the *Luxe version) are made to order in Montreal, Canada. This printer is closed on the weekends, thus it tends to take a while so patience in this case is greatly appreciated! Please allow 8-16 days for delivery. *Luxe version ships within 1 day.
