Taking care of your new patch is easy - you can either hand or machine wash it inside out and heat dry on low to medium heat.
If you choose the iron-on option, be sure to protect the patch and surrounding material with the included protective sheet or Teflon cloth before heating. And remember not to use the highest setting as patches can melt! We also recommend adding a few stitches to the patch after it has cooled to secure it in place and add longevity to its life.
To apply the patch, you can either use a heat press or a traditional iron. For a heat press, set the temperature to 305°F and press using medium pressure for 20 seconds. For a traditional iron, set it to the medium setting and ensure the steam function is off. Then press from the front side of the patch for about 30 seconds and heat from the backside for another 30 seconds. Allow cooling for a minute, then check around the edges of the patch. If there's any lifting, repeat the pressing process until firmly secured in place.
