SMALL STEPS IN THE WORD - A PRESCHOOL BIBLE PROGRAM
This set of Old Testament Bible stories is part of a series called 'Small Steps in the Word', it was designed to make it easy to teach Bible stories to preschool students. No time to plan? Need to leave plans for a volunteer? No problem! These lessons require very few supplies and are so easy to teach.
WHAT DOES EACH BIBLE LESSON LOOK LIKE?
Each lesson is designed very similarly so they're easy to teach week after week.
STEP ONE: READ THE LESSON PLAN. The step-by-step lesson plan breaks each lesson into three easy-to-understand sections. It also includes the discussion questions.
STEP TWO: READ THE STORY - Read the Old Testament Bible story from your own children’s Bible, then use the discussion questions to guide a conversation with your kids!
STEP THREE: DO THE ACTIVITY - A hands-on activity or craft that relates to the story.
STEP FOUR: COLOR THE WORKSHEET - Finish up with a coloring page that’s specifically designed to let parents and caregivers know what you’ve been learning about. It includes the ‘big idea’ from the story, a space to color, and a key Bible verse.

Each lesson is designed to be taught in 30 minutes.
