When Sally Owens was a girl, she cast a true love spell using a wooden bowl and flower petals. Her Amas Veritas spell sent the petals floating on the evening air... so beautiful! A lovely reminder from Practical magic to "Fall in love whenever you can".
Each framed quote is made by hand with pressed Hydrangea petals and a “bowl” cut from real wood veneer. Sally’s wish list for her imagined man is presented with vintage illustrations and reads as follows:
He will hear my call a mile away
He will whistle my favourite song
He will ride a pony backwards
He can flip pancakes in the air
He will be marvellously kind
His favourite shape will be a star
He will have one green eye, and one blue
The black wood frame measures 9 x 11 inches with deep sides for a shadow box effect, and is ready to hang.
Please note: The petals have been pressed using traditional methods and the colours will fade over time and very quickly if hung in direct sunlight.
