♥ABOUT JAPANESE HAORI♥
A haori is a long jacket with deep, swinging, kimono-style sleeves. The Taisho Roman pattern and wreath design are applied to the entire haori, making it a very beautiful haori with a sense of weight and ingenuity in weaving. A haori is made to be worn over kimonos but looks great in Western world clothing, dressed down with jeans or dressed up with a dress.
All kimonos date from the mid-1800s through the 1990s. They are all in good condition, and some are new. Some of them do have tears, damage, a stain or a change of color, sunburn, etc. If any have additional damage, I will explain it in detail. Please contact me if you have any questions—I'm happy to answer them.
Please remember that almost every item is different from a new garment. However, lovely vintage Haori may have tiny, faint areas of minor discoloration—a patina of age and acceptable use to most people who prefer beautiful early pieces.
The overall condition is always reflected in the pricing, and if you do not want an old Haori or if you would like to buy one in perfect condition, you may be better advised to buy new or recent pieces and forgo antique and vintage kimonos. If you decide to return the item after receiving it, please email me and let me know the reasons why.
