This is a gorgeous vintage, handmade, genuine Taxco sugilite and sterling silver pendant.
The pendant is a teardrop shape with the deep purple sugilite stone also teardrop-cut and set in polished sterling silver.
The pendant measures about 1 1/8" by more than 1/2" at the widest point (About 1" in length without its bale). The round bale is about 3/16" in diameter. The sugilite stone measures about 3/4" by 3/8" at the widest point. Very pretty.
The piece weighs about 4.8 grams. It is stamped TC-264 925 MEXICO, which is the hallmark and registration number of the Taxco artisan who handmade the piece.
