Vintage Coq cognac bottle carafe in chiseled glass, height 29 cm.
This is a figural rooster bottle made by the venerable French cognac producer A. Hardy. This one once held cognac and can still be used as a display decanter, filled with cognac. The bottle is made of thick, clear glass - very fine quality, and was made in France.
Hardy has a tradition of offering its cognac in high-end bottles, working with companies such as Daum and Baccarat. This bottle measures 29 cm.
The bottle has a gold cap and the rooster's head fits just above the cap. Hardy produces very expensive cognacs as well as special edition cognacs and the rooster has long been a symbol used by Hardy.
It is in excellent condition - great display piece for a bar or even for a country setting, filled with colored liquid and placed in a window. Beautiful collectible cognac bottle!
