This listing is for a piece of Michigan's agricultural history that has been reclaimed and is now offered in a new form for another purpose. This unique, one-of-a-kind barn beam stand was salvaged from a 100 year old barn that stood near Cass City, MI as part of the structural framework of the barn.
This piece has been kiln dried and sanitized to get rid of anything that may have been living in or on this beam.
This side table is solid reclaimed wood, not hollow, and has been lightly cleaned, gently sandedand left unfinished. The saw marks and joint pockets are all still visible and add to the character and charm of this piece. There are some minor checks visible on the sides and you can clearly seen the growth rings on the end of this beam. (Checks are natural cracks that occur along the grain of a log as it dries out over time.)
These solid beam tables would also make great stools, display tables, plant stands, candle holders or whatever else you can think of!
This listing is for one table only.
