Each link is approximately 4.4mm x 2.1mm (length and height/width).and the chain is finished with a bolt ring.
Every part of this neck chain is sterling silver (925 silver) and it has been hallmarked to confirm that.
What is a hallmark?
A UK based jewellery maker has to register with an assay office if they wish sell items made of precious metal over a certain weight. If an item made is above that weight (7.78grams in the case of 925 sterling silver), it has to be sent to the assay office to be tested and stamped to confirm it is the metal stated. It is illegal to offer sterling silver items over a certain weight unless they have been hallmarked (exceptions apply to some vintage items etc). My hallmark (sponsor) stamp is held by the London Assay office who test all my items offered for sale IF they weigh 7.78grams or above.
Lengths
I hand cut the chain to make this necklace so am happy to confirm a price if you need a length I don't currently offer - just use the contact button near my photograph at the top of the page. Because I do hand cut the chain the lengths are approximate. I also cut to the next nearest link so a chain may be a few millimetres longer than stated. It will never be shorter.
Packaging
This chain comes in a white gift box with my company name (Jacqueline Grant Designs) in silver. Within the box you'll find a teeny polishing cloth to keep the sparkle and a care card.
