Red envelopes, li xi or hongbao are commonly given with money inside to family and friends. The gift isn't the money inside, but the gift of wishing the recipient good luck and good fortune with the red and gold envelope. They are commonly used during the Lunar New Year but also during special occasions, such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, holidays and the birth of a child.
Each envelope measures approximately 3" x 3.75" and will fit paper money that is folded in half. These red and gold envelopes are made with red 65lb cardstock and reflective gold vinyl. Each set is a SET OF FIVE envelopes. Envelopes will come with matching gold circle stickers to seal the envelopes. Money does NOT come with the envelopes :)
Orders will be packaged in a clear protective sleeve before placing in a rigid mailer to ensure it gets to you in perfect condition.
