When celebrating El dia de lo Muertos /Day of the dead we use marigolds or cempasuchil cross that are placed in various locations: above an altar, on the floor in front of an altar, next to the picture of a family member and decorate a gravesite. This tradition has been passed down for generations as part of my Mexican culture to honor our loves ones that have passed away. Each year a picture of a family is placed at the altar along with your ofrenda and decorations.

✨️Nov. 2: Día de Los Difuntos/Spirits of the Adults, continues to honor the spirits of the departed adults.
