----- MARKER RECOMMENDATION -----
We tested dozens of dry erase markers, wet erase markers, paint pens, and permanent markers. Our two favorite products with excellent results were:
*** Expo Dry Erase Ultra Fine Tip in black or brown
- brown performed better than black but both colors worked
- ultra fine tip was better than fine tip or medium tip, we definitely recommend ultra fine tip
- this marker will wipe off the sign's surface because it is a dry erase marker
- other dry erase brands did not have the same great result, and we recommend Expo brand
*** Sharpie Oil-Based Fine Tip in black
- this is NOT DRY ERASE
- follow marker's instructions for writing, and test on cardboard before writing on name sign
Regular permanent markers did not work well for our name signs. We also did not have success with all dry erase markers, but the Expo brand in ultra fine tip worked wonderfully.

FONT - Designs have a predetermined font.
MIDDLE NAME OPTION - Design 1 fits a first name only, while design 2 can fit a first and middle name.

See font chart for specific letters and how they will appear. For Design 1, script font is case sensitive. For Design 2, the top font is an all caps block font while the bottom font is all lowercase.
----- PROOFING POLICY & CHANGE POLICY -----
Name plaques are custom made to order. We begin working on orders right away, and we are unable to make changes after we begin production. Please double check the name and spelling, and if there is any reason the name might change we recommend confirming the name before the order is placed. We are not able to make design changes, and if there is a spelling mistake or name change we will not be able to cancel, change, or refund the order.
The font chart is provided in the image gallery. Because we provide the font chart we do not send proofs for this item unless requested.
