This listing is for ONE Antique Roberts Early Electric Black Metal Double Wall Sconce. These are Gothic Style Metal Wall Sconces. These used to be electric, they have a Bakelite electrical component on the back with old cloth covered wiring. These would need to be completely rewired for electrical use, or they could easily be converted to candle light. The faux candles that come with the sconce are made of pressed paper boards and they are old and worn. The condition of these sconces is of course used. The black paint is chippy and comes off easily. There are four sconces available, the black paint chipping varies in condition. But the 4 sconces are all in the same general condition. These could be as early as circa 1925 but best guess is they are from the 1930s. Please take a look at photos, this listing is for ONE of the sconces featured.
