JEWELRY DESCRIPTION: This listing is for the body mod add-on chain ONLY. Does not include nose piercing jewelry or septum ring (these are the model’s own jewelry to show how the chain works). Your body jewelry add-on will closely resemble the above pictured sample, with the exception of type of metal finish and bead type made to order.
There are a large number of choices for beads: nearly 60 different beads (see below for full list with sizes and descriptions). Please read the whole description to understand the choices before ordering INCLUDING size of beads, listed below, as each color or gemstone will vary in size and style. (There are other listings in my shop for each individual nose chain choice, but since most folks see only one listing in their search, I have tried to fit everything into the main listings. It can be confusing, as it is very hard for me to set up a listing with so many options, so please do not hesitate to reach out to me with questions.)
Hand-built add-on jewelry in a customizable size, these beaded nose chains are intended to be worn over the bridge of the nose between two piercings, making these a fantastic body mod accessory. Each piece is MADE TO ORDER and available in a variety of styles in my shop.
Each bead is hand strung and attached in line with small custom made jump ring ends. Every part of these chains is handmade by me with the exception of the cutting of the beads, which come from all over the world, as I have made a point to source the finest, rarest, and most popular gemstones available, as well as a variety of more affordable stunningly beautiful options available in Swarovski cut crystal or glass.
The ends of the chain will have a closed loop of a maximum width of 2-3 mm in diameter so that you may thread this nose piercing add-on through any existing jewelry you wear, making it interchangeable and easy to mix and match with other jewelry. If the maximum or minimum width should be changed to suit your needs, that can be arranged. Your nose chain will include between 4-8 beads depending on the chain length you require.
The chains are made from fine 28 gauge wire in your choice of metal finish and your choice of beads. Please see my shop for other metal finish choices including, while supplies last: Sterling Silver, 14 K Gold Filled, Silver Plated, Gold Plated, Copper, Bronze, and Black Rhodium wire. Likewise, I have gemstone chains also available while supplies last in individual listings for each type of precious and semi-precious stone. The pricing of precious metals and gemstones are frequently updated to reflect current market price.
!!!!SIZING INSTRUCTIONS!!!!:
Size confirmation is required please! This is very hard to do without being able to measure your face in person, so please be attentive to measurement directions and measure multiple times to be sure before ordering. I will contact you after your order is placed to confirm your size and discuss any aspects of which you are unsure.
There are no refunds on made to order pieces, so please be sure of your size and bead choice before ordering. I welcome you to send me a message if you have any questions. I am willing to work with you to get your size correct if you mis-measure, but the goal is to get you the correct size on the first try.
I offer in this listing sizes 25 mm-50 mm, but can make any length you desire. IF THE SIZE YOU WOULD LIKE IS NOT LISTED, PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY FOR A CUSTOM LISTING. I am absolutely willing to make you any size you want.
TAKING YOUR MEASUREMENTS: To determine the size of your chain, please use a piece of string and a ruler OR a flexible measuring tape to measure in millimeters the distance between your nose piercings up and over the bridge of your nose, but not too high, try to imagine the natural resting position of the chain over your nose when you measure. Please measure from the center of your piercing hole to the center of the second piercing hole without jewelry in the piercings if possible to get the most accurate measurements.
Give yourself some slack in the measurement so that your chain is not too tight! If it is too tight it may be uncomfortable to wear, too loose will cause lower wearing position on your face. Please also consider that the chain is metal and will be heavier than a string or tape and will therefore pull slightly lower.
IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT CHAIN SIZING: Any chain size you choose will have the measurement terminate inside the end rings, so it may look slightly longer by a millimeter or two so that there is enough room for you to have facial expressions without pulling on the chain. If I were to make a chain exactly 40mm from outside end of left end ring to outside end of right end ring, the center of the ring where the piercing jewelry must pass through to wear would pass through metal and not the loop, so it has to be a little longer than 40 mm to be worn at 40 mm between piercings. Please keep this in mind when choosing your size and when you receive your body mod accessory.

Cleaning: Due to the many different types of material I use (beads, glass, metals, resins, enamels, adhesives, and natural elements) it is not recommended to use jewelry cleaning products as they may denature the adhesives or discolor other elements. So please DO NOT USE JEWELRY CLEANERS. Instead, find a shallow container, fill with one inch of warm water and soak for 5-10 minutes. Use an old toothbrush or brush with soft bristles to clean any areas that have remaining residue or build up.
