Concentric squares of dots color study. These 3D collages are made by painting a series of wooden panels in a spectrum of colour. `I use a combination of inks, acrylics and metallic paint which I carefully mix so that the grain of the wood shows through leaving a fine sheen and texture.
The panels are then cut into dots and the surface of the dots is etched with fine lines on my laser machine.
The dots are then carefully composed into a soft composition of concentric squares. Each one of these in this series is unique to the next.
This piece is 50x50cm square (20")
Choose from unframed or a black or white frame.
The frames are 5cm deep box style frame with a UV perspex glaze to protect the colours and also for safe shipping.
