Long ago the Scottish highland farmers would gather branches while they walked the hills and glens with their flocks - bringing them home to carve by the fireside on the long evenings. At Storybrook Hollow we keep that tradition of our highland heritage alive with our own rustic walking sticks.
This unique walking stick measures approximately 52 inches in length and features a sturdy 1.25 inch staff diameter. The skull topper is approximately 3 inches front to back, by 4 inches wide from horn to horn tip, by 4 inches high and is cast and painted individually by hand. The finished skull is then covered in a protective layer of fiberglass resin for a hard-wearing finish. The poplar staff is carved in a charred and rustic bone-like pattern down its length for added mystic charm.
