Locs are created with curly weft hair, not kinky bulk.
Loc Extensions will behave and mature just like new, natural locs, and that’s all you need to know about maintaining these extensions. Treat them as your own hair.
Locs can be cut from either end to be shortened to achieve desired style before or after instillation.
To refresh curly ends, while your hair is dry, dip your ends in water and conditioner. Gently detangle with fingers or comb to keep ends loose and curly. If you do not detangle, they will simply loc up naturally over time. Hair when wet is fragile, to avoid accidentally pulling out ends, Do not do this when entire loc is wet, just the end that are being detangled.

Hair companies use misleading terms like, “Brazilian,” “Malaysian,” “unprocessed,” “virgin,” “grade 8, 9, 10,” when the hair is none of those things. They have to in order to compete in the market, because customers look for these nonsensical key words. I am also guilty of this, it is how the vendor marketed hair to me, so that is the language I used. If you’re buying hair with a manufactured curl, it can not be virgin or unprocessed, by definition of the word, “unprocessed”.
1) A hair grading system does not exists, periodt.
2) If the hair has a manufactured curl, it is neither virgin or unprocessed.
3) ”Brazilian,” “Peruvian,” “Malaysian, etc” are all misleading terms used to describe hair texture and is NOT necessarily where the hair is sourced. Hair most commonly comes from China, India, and a few other Asian countries. I promise you, no one in Brazil is selling us their hair…
4)Unless you are buying raw, Indian temple and/or single donor hair, it is most likely not virgin or unprocessed hair.
I’m not saying ALL vendors are being misleading, just do your research.
