If you are fed up with your toolboxes sliding around the back of your van then this is the solution for you.
These base plates locate the feet of all of the Dewalt ToughSystem 1.0 & 2.0 Boxes, Totes and draws, which stop them sliding along the floor. Just simply drop the feet into the key shaped holes in the places and they ain’t going anywhere!
These plates can also be used to make a dolly to transport your tools around the job site, either you use one set of plates to screw down to a piece of plywood or MDF, fit some rotating caster wheels to the bottom of the timber and you have got yourself a dolly! You could also buy 2 sets of plates and stack the toolboxes up back to back giving you access from both sides.
How are they made?
These are 3d printed from robust PETG and come with counter sunk fixing holes, one in each corner and two in the middle.

What are they compatible with?
The Base Plates are compatible with all of the Tough System toolboxes, totes and drawers including both 1.0 and 2.0 models.
THESE ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE T STACK PRODUCT RANGE
PLEASE ALSO NOTE These do not clamp the toolboxes down or clip into the box in any way they simply locate the feet and stop the boxes moving laterally. To remove the toolboxes lift directly upwards.

How do I install the base plate?
Easy, with the screws provided. Make sure the ‘FRONT’ marked on the base plate is facing where you want the front of the toolbox to face, measure 395mm from the inside edge of the base plates at the top and the bottom. Using a screwdriver or a drill with a low torque setting, screw the plates down, making sure not to over tighten the screw.
