This large Executive desk was based on a 1975 Beech B -19 wing section with circular stainless legs. Each vintage airplane custom build that I create is unique and requires different levels of restoration work. The desk that will be built will have similar specifications but will be slightly different and distinctive. When completed it will be beautiful, unique, and meticulously detailed. This original one-off artistic creation features a museum quality structural reveal of a vintage aircraft wing section. This singular and unique work of art provides an interior view of the structural rib members of what was once a functional and flying aircraft with many 1,000's of hours of flight time. Along with meticulous restoration work you will note that this vintage specimen also contains unique flaws and imperfections from years of airworthy service. This salvaged aircraft wing section is all aluminum with upper and lower wing surfaces polished to a (vintage) mirror shine. The circular support legs are stainless steel. The desk surface is heavy 1/2" glass with custom carbon fiber adjustable height supports. All major components of this custom build are salvaged and repurposed items. This artistic rendering is a one-off, singular, unique creation. This exclusive creation is large, heavy, and exquisitely beautiful. Each of my works are tagged with a one oz. .999 pure silver artists signature tag.
