The hot melt adhesive will melt into the fabric. Depends on the size of the patch and the material of garment, it is recommended to sew along the edge of the patch with sewing machine or needle to further secure the patch. It is washable, dryable and dry cleanable. For machine washing, turn garment inside-out to protect the patch.
